While you don't need to be an Olympic swimmer, you should be comfortable in the water and able to maintain yourself at the surface. For the Discover Scuba course, basic swimming skills are enough. For certification, there are specific swim tests required by PADI.
The minimum age for PADI Junior Open Water certification is 10 years old. We also offer "Bubblemaker" programs for children as young as 8 in the safety of a pool.
Diving is great year-round! December to April offers cooler weather and clear skies. May to September is Whale Shark season, which is a bucket-list experience for many divers.
Nope! All of our packages include high-quality, regularly serviced rental equipment. However, if you have your own mask, fins, or computer, you're more than welcome to bring them.
