From there, your PADI 5 Star Open Water certification unfolds on your own private boat, taking you to some of the most iconic dive sites in the Caribbean, including vibrant reefs and the MUSA underwater museum.

Your experience begins with private tranportation from Cancun to Isla Mujeres. Over two days, you complete your training through pool sessions and four open water dives, including MUSA and Caribbean National Park reef sites, where you’ll swim among tropical fish, coral formations, and marine life.
The equipment is premium Cressi gear, and each dive is guided with a clear focus on safety, comfort, and building real confidence in the water. By the end, you leave certified and ready to dive anywhere in the world.

Arrival
- Cancun airport pickup and private taxi boat to Isla Mujeres.
- On the island, private transfer to your hotel.
Course Day 1
- Private transfer from Hotel to Pocna Dive Center.
- Pool Session N°1, covering equipment setup, breathing techniques, buoyancy, and safety procedures.
- Departure by private boat for your first two open water dives at MUSA Underwater Museum and Manchones Reef.
- During boat transfers enjoy drinks, snacks and fresh ceviche.
- Private transfer from Pocna Dive Center to your hotel.
Day 2 — Final Dives
- Private transfer from Hotel to Pocna Dive Center.
- Pool Session N°2, focused on skill refinement and independent dive planning.
- Departure by private boat for two additional open water dives at selected National Park reefs.
- During boat transfers enjoy drinks, snacks and fresh ceviche.
- Private transfer from Pocna Dive Center to your hotel.

Diving in Isla Mujeres

Yes, absolutely.
The schedule mentioned above is the minimum time required, but you can increase your stay by more days if you wish and we can also increase the course duration by spreading the course sections over 3 or more days, consecutive or not, whatever works best for you.
No experience is required. This course is designed for beginners and takes you step by step from your first introduction to scuba diving through to full certification.
10 years.
The course is usually completed over 2 full days of in-water training. It consists of 4 course blocks, which can also be spread over 3 or more days.
The theory is done through eLearning and can be completed before arriving or during your stay.
The theory portion is completed through PADI eLearning. You can finish it at your own pace before arriving, or complete it during your stay, between sessions, from your hotel, the beach, or poolside.
You will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification. This is an internationally recognized certification that allows you to dive anywhere in the world within the limits of your training.
Yes. The course includes instruction, equipment, dives, transportation, and full coordination. Accommodation and optional upgrades are not included.
That is completely normal. The course is structured to build confidence step by step, starting in a controlled environment, with your instructor guiding you throughout the entire process.
Yes, solo travelers are welcome. Since the experience is fully tailored, pricing is adjusted accordingly.
